2021 Holiday shipping FAQ

What is the cost of shipping?

We provide free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states plus Alaska. The price you see is the price you pay at checkout. Sales tax is applied to orders made in Massachusetts.

Is it safe to ship during the winter?

Yes. We ship safely year round using insulated crush resistant boxes, and heat packs when appropriate. We monitor the weather on our end and contact you if we need to arrange a new arrival date due to a storm or extreme temperatures.

Can I pick up in person instead of shipping?

We are located in Oxford MA. You can pick up your dragon in person by appointment. Buying a dragon needs to be done online before scheduling a pickup.

Can I have a dragon shipped to me for Christmas?

Weather permitting we expect to be able to ship out on December 14th and 15th. We will monitor how well Fedex is holding up and make a final decision on the day of. So far Fedex has been doing very well this holiday season.

December 15th is the final shipping day of the year. We will resume shipping on January 4th.

Are there any changes to shipping during the holiday season?

During peak shipping season certain Fedex services are limited, such as responding to delivery disputes. Because of that if you live close to a Fedex ship center then we ask that you pick the package up there instead of delivery to your door. We will look up the location nearest to you and discuss with you after purchase.

When should I place an order that I want for Christmas?

You should order as soon as possible. When you checkout on this site you can enter your preferred arrival date and we will hold your dragon until then. Our hold period, which is normally 14 days, is extended through the holiday shipping period.

What dragons do you have available?

The dragons listed on our website are available. They are labeled as “sold” when they are no longer available. If a dragon or category is sold out but has not been labeled as sold, then you won’t be able to add it to your shopping cart and will receive a message saying there is no available inventory for that item.

If you don’t see the dragon you are looking for contact me because we have options that haven’t been listed yet. I discuss with you what you are looking for and hand pick the dragon that best fits. I can often send an existing example photo, but cannot take new photos of the specific dragon you will receive.

Some customers may be apprehensive at first about receiving a dragon that they weren’t able to see first. Since beginning this policy customers have been very happy with the dragons they receive so we consider it a success. We provide a full health and satisfaction guarantee.

Bearded dragons make excellent family pets. Please remember that a pet is a gift that comes with responsibility and will need daily care long after the holiday season has ended.
